Here is something to read and think about as we head towards the warmer months. I know that I often ride in just tee shirt and jeans, but after reading this article it has made me think twice. One gutsy chicky......cute too!!

Educating and getting back into what we know we should be wearing is good. She didn't get road rash in vain -- so to speak. That's why I hate the heat, cause I like to gear up. Maybe not full faced, but I always wear a jacket and chaps and a helmet. This time of year is good in California... perfect gear weather. Your warmer months are here now... safe riding!
As much as I know I should, I still find it hard to wear a jacket in the summer and even my vest gets way too hot.
I completely understand! Do you have a cool vest? If not, check them out, they do work...maybe not in the hottest of heat days like we had here this summer, but they do cool you some.
